Edgar Martinez, CPA, CISA, MIS: Edgar is a seasoned professional with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. He embarked on his public accounting career in 1990, gaining certification as a CPA in 1992. With 24 years of experience, Edgar specializes in tax return preparation for corporations, partnerships, small businesses, and individuals. His expertise extends to general business consultation, budgeting, business planning, tax planning, and financial statement preparation. Certified as a CISA in September 1999, he offers IT audits and consulting services. Edgar’s qualifications also include a Master’s in Management Information Systems from Sacred Heart University, where he served as a professor of IT Auditing from 2005 to 2007. As an Advance QuickBooks ProAdvisor and certified in Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI, he excels in implementing accounting systems, point-of-sale solutions, and training accounting staff.
